Advent is coming! I love Advent music and I hope you do too. I find much of our “Popular” Christmas music is actually Advent music. You’ve heard “Christmas is coming the goose is getting fat…..” As far as I can see, that’s an Advent song. As you listen to your favorite Christmas carols this year, take a moment and listen more closely. Perhaps it’s actually an Advent carol and you didn’t even realize it.

Music needs to support the congregation in worship, understanding of the Eucharist, and openness to the Holy Spirit. My goal is to help create a more devout culture as we develop young musicians into prayerful music leaders.
I enjoy writing liturgical music and I embrace many different styles. I love the richness of our Catholic tradition as well as the moving spirituality of newer worship music.
